The 2009 global economy recession has made several graduated young talents jobless. Some of them are fresher / inexperienced, who are looking for some bright career and some of them are experienced employees who were dismissed from their companies due to this recession. The search for jobs has never been so high before.
Leading To A Wrong Path:
Due to this mass unemployment, some people have taken advantage of this recession. Different in ways, in which you can become a victim of these people.
A) You’d be asked to pay some amount to join in their company. They’d promise you a moderate salary for few months period and later on they’d assure you a huge hike. But nothing is going to happen, neither do they even give you one month salary nor would they give you any work. They’’ just disappear with your money.
B) A few companies cheat in a legal way. They’d tell you that, if we pay some money, they’d put us on training period and based on our performance we’ll be placed in project. But they’ll chuck us out after the training period. Of course, this isn’t as bad as the first one, as we could learn something here.
C) The third one is not a scam/hoax but it is still a way of cheating or taking advantage of this recession. Many companies offer jobs at a very low salary. Not that they aren’t making profit. Even if they were making 50% of the profit as earlier, they’d take fresher for a salary 75% less than the industry standards.
And since we have no job, we would easily become their victims unless guided in the right path.
Making A Right Move:
So, having said about all the DON’Ts , it’d be unfair on my part if I didn’t say the DO’s. The only way to see the light of your career is to get a job, which is obvious. But how you are going to get that in this period of recession? You can either go to a HR consultancy or any other recruitment service and make your way into a job or search for jobs in job portals like the usual. But both the methods have some drawbacks. If we seek a recruitment service, they’d demand for a huge sum before or after getting placed. And needless to say about the job portals, they are highly inefficient. Most of the employers that I go through these job portals are scams. Reason? They (Job portals) just need money to get the company’s name listed in their site. They won’t see whether it is a genuine company or not. And most of the scammers don’t hesitate to pay these money for these job portals as it is the only investment they gonna make and this is the only way they could cheat people in a large amount. So isn’t there anyway to get us a job? Yes, there is. Job Portals like EmploymentCrossing has a different modus operandi. They don’t charge the employers like others. The reason being, most of the employers are looking for cost cutting and moving towards free-listing job portals. So in order to get as many employers as possible, they don’t charge them.
And another huge difference is that the EmploymentCrossing researches on these employers. So there would be no chance of any hoax company. And the employment research also plays a vital role in getting jobs that meet our specific requirements. Now that you know the real advantage of EmploymentCrossing, why not pay for their service? You can also find EmploymentCrossing Reviews in their site. All the best for your Career!
