Diabetes

Most people with Type 2, or non-insulin-dependent diabetes are over weight. “If you have adult-onset type 2 diabetes.” Your blood sugar will lower immediately when you start losing weight.” People with Type 2 diabetes are often so overweight that they feel discouraged. “We all have these images of perfect bodies.” Why bother, if I can’t get down to my ideal weight? Instead of feeling that you have to reach some unattainable ideal, think of a weight you can reach, at which you can look better and feel better.

“The key is to get the first five kilos off, keep them off for a while and let your body adjust. Then, if you want to lose more, you can. But you’ll have improved your health.
