My friends know that I love food. I'm nuts about it. They know that when holidays or special occasions come around that they're going to be getting some kind of delicious goody from me. I've always wanted to open my own bakery or little dessert bar. One of those dream - fantasy jobs we have as a kid and it sticks with us our whole life kinda things. Instead of owning or working in one I just cook for people. Experiment with foods.
One of my favorite websites is Slash Food. Not only do they offer various recipes for drinks and food but they have a little of everything. I'm kinda dorky and love reading about food news. The site is updated constantly throughout the day so there's always something new when I log on to my 4G Internet.
I love taking my laptop with me wherever I go. With Clear Wireless I'm able to drag my laptop into the kitchen with me. If I'm not using it as my giant cook book, I'm tooling around Slash Food looking for inspiration. Sometimes I don't want to make the same old stuff. I really want to read about what's going on in the world, new ways to infuse exotic spices into everyday cooking, and find cute ways to decorate cakes or dinner settings.
When the internal wireless died in my laptop I thought I was going to have to leave my computer stationary and it was going to be a real pain when it came to me wanting to experiment in the kitchen. The Clear Wireless modem solved my problem there. I'm still here with my bookmarked recipes and oven timer and couldn't be happier.
